We would like to say "Thank You" to everyone who came out and participated in this year's Verdugo Mountains 10K! The event, which was held on Sunday, May 5th, at the Brand Park and Library in the Verdugo Mountains, was our biggest race yet, with 863 runners and hikers enjoying the trails.
The course begins in beautiful Brand
Park, climbs steadily to one of the highest points in the Verdugo
Mountains, and then heads back downhill for a fast descent to the finish.
Breathtaking views of the L.A. Basin, the San Fernando Valley, and the
Pacific Ocean await you at every turn. From the race’s highest point, at
2,670 feet above sea level, the panoramic view of the San Gabriel
Mountains is truly spectacular.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE VERDUGO MOUNTAINS 10K:
“Thank you soo much for a great event. Well run as always. Did far better than I though I would and will be back next year. Take care, and thank you for all your hard work.
Can you also tell Charlie that he did a great job today, but his singing is worse than mine, LOL

race was excellent! There was a buzz around the finish line that I have
not seen in quite a while. A lot of long time local runners were making
immediate comparisons to the Mt Wilson Trail Race and Baldy Run to the
Top, which are very long time and established cult races, as you surely
know... so I am thinking that you have created an instant classic with a
modern feel to it! “
Bruce Bornhurst ~ La Canada, CA
just wanted to say thank you to all the people that put on such a great
race... I can’t wait ‘til next year!”
